Ayurvedic, vinyasa yoga, with pranayama for purification into Spring
Service Description
Join Jacquelyn for a 3 week yoga immersion to purify the mind and body so that you can reach your ultimate potential this spring. WHY: -You will start, or reinvigorate your yoga practice -You will learn short 5 minute meditation practices to compliment your yoga -You will learn breathing excercises or pranayama -You will learn an Ayurvedic yogic sequence to cradle you out of winter Kapha Dosha dominance and into Spring -You will learn how to balance your personal dosha -you will learn purification techniques using breath, vinyasa yoga, saucha (cleanliness), and a Tibetan buddhist method of mental purification. -you will learn karmic causes to improve your meditation and yogic practice. -you will learn meditation postures for your unique body. -you will learn anuusara alignment techniques -you will join a private community of yogis who will elevate each other and become global friends. HOW: -we will meet live on zoom Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm AZ (6:30-7:30pm NYC). (Option to watch recording for up to three months.) WHAT YOU NEED: -yoga mat, 2 pillows, (blocks or books as substitute optional, a journal, and belt or yoga strap. -2 hour commitment each week (6 hours total) -a computer or phone to view classes -download the Zoom app or watch on browser (you do not need to purchase a plan).
